Flat handle kraft paper bags are a popular, eco-friendly bag widely used across food service, takeaway, grocery, and retail sectors. Made from strong and sustainable natural brown or white kraft paper, they are valued for their durability, recyclability, and cost-effectiveness. Look out for FSC® certified products.

These bags feature flat, folded paper handles that are securely glued either internally or externally for strength and comfortable carrying. Commonly referred to as flat-handle paper bags, folded-handle bags, or SOS (Self-Opening Square) bags, this style is widely trusted by food outlets, cafés, vape shops, and general retailers.

Our externally glued handle bags are currently available in two small sizes, while our internally glued range offers a broader selection of sizes and a more premium feel. For larger orders, we can also provide coloured handles, subject to a minimum order quantity of 10,000 bags.

We offer a wide range of standard machine-made sizes, making these bags a cost-effective option for low to high volume orders. Printing is available using flexographic (flexo) printing in up to four Pantone colours, ideal for bold, clean designs and edge-to-edge coverage where required.

For bespoke projects, we also offer flexographic printing in up to six Pantone colours using eco-friendly water-based inks, perfect for strong line based artwork. Where more detailed or photographic designs are needed, full-colour CMYK printing is available — please contact us for a bespoke quote

First Order Setup:
A one-time printing plate fee applies to your initial order. Plates are stored for free for future reprints, saving you time and money on repeat orders.

Order Quantity Tolerance
Please note: we work to an industry standard tolerance of ±10% on machine made paper bags. While we endeavour to produce the exact quantity ordered, variations may occur due to production factors. If the final quantity is lower, a refund will be issued for the shortfall. If higher, an invoice for the additional cost will be raised prior to despatch. We offer the option to order the exact quantity required; this carries a 10% surcharge.

Delivery:
All prices include delivery to one UK mainland address. Additional charges may apply for deliveries to the Highlands, Islands, and remote areas. Delivery times are based on approval of artwork.
