MF (Machine Finished) tissue paper is produced with a smooth, uniform surface on both sides, created by the finishing process during manufacturing. It has a crisp, premium feel and is often used in retail packaging, gift wrapping, and luxury branding.

MG (Machine Glazed) tissue paper is a type of tissue paper that has a glossy finish on one side and a matte, slightly rougher texture on the other. This finish is created during the drying process, where the paper is pressed against a heated cylinder to produce a smooth, shiny surface.

We offer both flexographic and litho (offset) printing. Flexographic printing is ideal for simple, step and repeat designs and large volume print runs, while litho printing delivers high quality results for intricate artwork and full colour CMYK designs.

Due to the delicate and semi-transparent nature of tissue paper, colours may appear slightly muted or less vibrant compared to printing on thicker, opaque materials. The thinness of the paper can result in some ink absorption and translucency.If colour accuracy is important for your project, we recommend ordering printed samples before placing your bulk order. Samples can be ordered online and typically take 5–7 working days to produce.

Printing on brown kraft paper can affect how colours appear due to its natural, darker background. Colours may look more muted or subdued compared to printing on white paper, and lighter colours (like pastels or yellows) may not show as vibrantly.

For the best results, we recommend using darker, high-contrast colours. If colour accuracy is important, consider ordering a printed sample before placing a full order.

Yes, metallic and fluorescent inks generally incur an additional cost due to the specialised pigments and printing processes required.
Standard metallic gold and silver can be ordered online, with pricing based on average ink coverage. If you require other metallic or fluorescent colours, please email your artwork for a bespoke quote. We’ll need to review your design and understand the ink coverage to provide accurate pricing.

Our minimum order quantity (MOQ) for printed tissue paper is 100 sheets, with an option to order a printed sample pack of 5 sheets.
